One Health United Meeting 2026 to convene in Innsbruck, Austria

19 June 2026

Researchers, PhD students and early-career scientists are warmly invited to attend the One Health United Meeting 2026, to be held in Innsbruck, Austria, from 23 to 25 September 2026. The event is being hosted by the Medical University of Innsbruck and will be structured across two linked components: the PhD-United One Health Meeting (23-24 September) and the ECMM/ISHAM-United Working Group Meeting (24-25 September).

The meeting has been designed to bring together participants working across a broad range of One Health topics, with a primary focus placed on medical mycology and antifungal resistance. Key perspectives on antibacterial resistance will also be addressed during the first part of the event. Set against the backdrop of the European Alps, the alpine city of Innsbruck has been selected as an inspiring setting in which new collaborations and partnerships are hoped to be formed.

Abstracts for the PhD-United One Health Meeting are now being accepted, with a submission deadline of 5 July 2026. All accepted abstracts will be edited and published in the journal One Health Mycology. The ISHAM/ECMM-United Working Group Meeting is additionally expected to result in a joint position paper, through which critical knowledge gaps will be identified and future priorities within the One Health framework outlined.

Further information regarding registration and abstract submission may be sought here.
