The 13th International Mycological Congress (IMC13) 2027 - Join the Global Mycology Community in Korea
The 13th International Mycological Congress (IMC13) will be held from 8-12 August 2027 in Incheon, Republic of Korea. Organized by the Korean Society of Mycology (KSM) in collaboration with the International Mycological Association (IMA), IMC13 will bring together mycologists, researchers, educators, students, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, present cutting-edge research, and strengthen international collaboration in fungal sciences.
Recognized as the world's premier international congress dedicated to mycology, IMC is held approximately every four years (three years in the current cycle) and serves as a global platform for advancing fungal research across diverse scientific disciplines. IMC13 will continue this tradition by offering an engaging scientific program featuring plenary lectures, keynote presentations, thematic symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and networking opportunities.
The scientific program will feature plenary and keynote lectures, concurrent scientific sessions, workshops, poster presentations, and networking events covering the full spectrum of mycology - from biodiversity, ecology, evolution, and taxonomy to genetics, genomics, biotechnology, agriculture, medicine, and industrial applications.
Further, the scientific program will cover a broad range of topics, including:
- Evolution, Nomenclature, Taxonomy, and Systematics
- Genomics, Genetics and Molecular Biology
- Cell Biology and Biochemistry
- Environmental Ecology and Interaction
- Mycobiome
